A year ago, the Department of Justice (“DOJ”) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) heralded data analytics in announcing parallel insider trading actions against a senior executive at a pharmaceutical company (Viatris Inc.), formerly known as Mylan N.V. (“Mylan”).
